- I offer a free 1,000-word sample, so you can decide if I’m the right person to work with on your manuscript.
- If you decide to work with me, we discuss the scope of the work and I prepare a beta reading or proofreading agreement for you to look over, ask any questions and sign.
- I use Microsoft Word’s track changes function to mark up any changes, such as correcting punctuation on the manuscript, and write any comments. If you’re unsure what track changes is, please have a look at my What’s track changes? and What happens after I receive my track changes? pages.
- Throughout the process, I keep you updated on when I’ve finished each stage. I’m always available to answer any questions you might have and aim to answer every email within 24 hours.
- I return the track changes manuscript along with a clean copy manuscript which shows my changes, but is unmarked.
- You review my changes and either accept or reject them. If there is any rewriting based on my feedback, you send me the manuscript again and we repeat the process up to three times.
